Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you accept the following:I. Scope of Work
- 1 Sketch
- 1 Finished, full-sized .PNGI will also provide progress updates as appropriate. Layers available upon request. I work at 300dpi, 2400x3000px, 8x10" print by default.II. Deadlines and Completion
Estimated completion time will be provided. If I can’t complete the work in the agreed upon time, I will refund you for work not finished plus 50% of work completed, upon request.III. Usage
These commissions are for personal use only, meaning it cannot be reproduced for profit. For a commercial use agreement, please contact me for negotiation. You may print the commission for personal use. You may share the commission on social media. Credit is appreciated!IV. Compensation
- Minimum 50% payment before the sketch is started.
- Full payment due on approval of sketch.
Revisions are fine, but if I think they’ll take me a significant amount of overtime, I may request additional payment before moving forward with them. This is only if I am not at fault for misinterpretation.V. Cancellation
You may cancel the commission if it’s not complete, but you will be charged for work finished. I will refund you the difference. For example, if you cancel a full rendering, and I have finished the lineart, I will refund the price of the full render minus the cost of the full lineart. You can keep the progress according to these terms.VII. Artist's Right to Authorship Credit
The artist may use the work in their portfolio (including, but not limited to, any website that displays the artist's works)*. When asked, the client must properly identify the artist as the creator. The client does not have a proactive duty to display the artist's name together with the work, but the client may not seek to mislead others that the work was created by anyone other than the artist.*if you would like the work to be private, please let me know and I will not share it!
